TERMS AND CONDITIONS -
Renting a dress.

1. Cleaning
All garments are professionally dry cleaned and steamed before dispatch. You do not need to clean, iron, or alter the dress before returning it.
Some creasing may occur in transit.
Hang the dress in a steamy bathroom or gently steam it if needed.
Please note that our garments are pre-loved. While thoroughly cleaned, NoStrings Dress is not liable for any health-related concerns resulting from hired garments.

2. Garment Use
- Dresses must not be altered, cut, or modified.
- Do not use strong perfume, spray tan, or makeup directly on garments.
- Tanning must be applied at least 48 hours before wearing.
- Customers are fully responsible for the garment during the hire period.

3. Payment
- Full payment must be received before dispatch.
- We accept credit/debit cards, Afterpay, and cash (pickup only).
- Orders are only confirmed once payment is received in full.

4. Late Returns
- Returns must be lodged by 5pm on the last day of your hire (or Monday if your return falls on a weekend).
- A late fee of $30 per day will apply for overdue returns.
- Late fees are capped at 14 days or the full RRP of the garment, whichever is
greater.
- If your parcel lacks a trackable return, you may be liable for recovery fees.

5. Security & Card Storage
- By hiring from us, you authorise No Strings Dress Hire to store your card details securely.
- In the event of loss, damage, or late return, we reserve the right to charge
your stored card.
- If your card fails, unpaid invoices will be sent to collections, with recovery costs added.
No Strings Dress Hire reserves the right to make contact with work, friends or family to enquire why your order has not been returned.ย 
No Strings Dress Hire reserves the right to contact the police local to your district to make them aware of the matter.
No Strings Dress Hire reserved the right to show up unannounced at your postal address to enquire about lost or missing orders.ย 

6. Damage, Loss & Replacement
- Minor wear is expected. Significant damage, permanent stains, or loss will result in full RRP being charged.
- If cleaning or repairs exceed $20, you will be invoiced.
- If RRP payment is required, you may arrange instalments over a maximum of 6 weeks.
- Unreturned garments after 14 days will be treated as stolen and pursued
accordingly.

7. Cancellation Policy
- 14+ days before hire: Full refund.
- 7โ€“14 days: Store credit (12-month expiry).
- <7 days: Store credit minus $20 and postage.
- Afterpay orders: Additional $20 non-refundable fee.

8. Credit Notes
- Valid for 12 months.
- One credit per order.
- Not exchangeable or refundable.

9. Shipping
- We are not liable for postal delays caused by third parties.
- You are responsible for ensuring timely delivery to your event.
- Hire at least 5 business days in advance for guaranteed arrival.
- Use the supplied return satchel and lodge at a post office by 5pm on your
return date.
